About the role:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative who can take charge of our Marsh Brand business and help expand it across the continental United States. The ideal candidate should be located near New Philadelphia, Ohio (for example, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Columbus OH, or Cleveland OH) and be able to commute to this location on a routine basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and allocate Marsh Brand resources effectively, supporting our U.S. distribution sales channels.
  • Assist in budgeting and managing sales revenue targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Conduct timely and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Cultivate and enhance pivotal customer relationships and develop new distribution channels and revenue opportunities.
  • Address and resolve disputes, aiming for positive outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage sales resources to fulfill Marsh Brand objectives, pricing, and profitability.
  • Support quote generation and manage sample requests and other sales-related materials.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with Marsh Brand partners and internal teams, including regular check-ins and quarterly reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in channel sales development or a comparable mix of education and experience.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with Industrios is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of B2B selling principles.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with various personality types and follow instructions clearly.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote work requires reliable high-speed internet and phone access.
  • Travel Requirement: 40%
  • This position typically operates in a professional office environment; however, remote work conditions apply as necessary.
  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
